How it works

After downloading the app, you will be asked to create a free personal profile.  The profile consists of a series of typical questions and a few specific questions for the family and the caregiver.

The algorithm matches on the following criteria:

1. Caregiver's maximum travel distance must be within family's search distance.

2. Caregiver's age must be within family's desired caregiver's age.

3. Caregiver's minimum compensation must be less than family's maximum compensation.

4. Caregiver's willingness to care for the maximum number of children must be less than the number of children in the family.

5. Caregiver's willingness to care for children with a minimum age of N must be less than the youngest child in the family.

6. Family's need for a caregiver to have their own transportation will only match to caregivers with their own transportation.

7. Family's with children that have special needs will only match to caregivers willing to care for children with special needs.

8. Families looking for a live-in caregiver will only match to caregivers that want to be a live-in.  This includes caregivers willing to relocate and live-in; in such cases, search and max travel distance are ignored.

9. Family's spoken language requirements must match the caregiver's spoken language abilities.

10. Families and Caregivers can reject each other by swiping left thereby breaking the match.

11. The personalities must align. The 24-question personality assessment is based on a proprietary algorithm developed by our founder who is a forensic/clinical psychologist.

Families and caregivers will be presented with a curated list of perfect matches that pass these criteria.

No other online service in the industry does this, which results in many uncomfortable conversations, especially around salaries, not to mention wasted hours filtering and interviewing caregivers who do not fit even the basic criteria.  Nannyverse is a free service to caregivers looking for employment and for families looking for prospective caregivers.  Only after a match is made, families would need to pay a subscription fee to contact the caregivers.  The family can then set up an interview, run all the necessary background checks, and voila, a match is made!

*Note, the matching algorithm is computationally intensive so it runs every few minutes - you may not see matches immediately after creating a profile.
